Identification of Antibody Subtypes Service

For hybridoma monoclonal antibody preparation, Biologicscorp International Corp (BIC) may provide an antibody subtype identification service. The identification range includes IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3, IgM, and IgA.

Antibodies of different subtypes have different domains (differences in hinge area, Fc-terminal amino acids, etc.). Differences in domains influence physicochemical properties and bioactivity, including antigen binding, immune complex formation, complement activation, half-life period performance, etc. Therefore, subtype-suitable antibodies should be selected for downstream experiments to achieve the desired results.
