Description Staphylokinase Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 136 amino acids and having a molecular weight of 15.5 kd.The Staphylokinase is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Amino Acid Sequence The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ser-Ser-Ser-Phe-Asp.
Purity >96% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC
Formulation Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
The protein was lyophilized from a sterile solution containing 20mM phosphate buffer pH-7.
Stability The lyophilized form of the protein is stable at room temperature for 3 weeks and at -20°C for at least 2 years from the date of receipt. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4°C for no more than 7 days. The protein is stable at -20°C for six months. For long term storage, please store at -80°C and the addition of a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is recommended. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity The biological activity measured by the ability of fibrin lysis in agarose plate was found to be 4600 IU/mg.
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized SAKin sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
