Enteropeptidase/Enterokinase Bovine Recombinant His Tag

Description	Enterokinase Bovine Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 241 amino acids with a 6 × His at C-terminus and having a molecular mass of 28.0kDa. The Enterokinase Bovine is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation	Sterile liquid solution. Bovine EK is supplied in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 0.5M NaCl and 50% glycerol.
Stability	The lyophilized form of the protein is stable at room temperature for 3 weeks and at -20°C for at least 2 years from the date of receipt. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4°C for no more than 7 days. The protein is stable at -20°C for six months. For long term storage, please store at -80°C and the addition of a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is recommended. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Unit Definition	One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme needed to cleave 50 ug of fusion protein in 16 hours to 95% completion at 25°C in a buffer containing 25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.6, 50 mM NaCl, and 2 mM CaCl2.
